Published on Nov 24, 2015 Central Detective Division is looking to identify and locate the suspect wanted for a robbery in Fairmount. On November 5, 2015, at 6:20 pm, the complainant, a 32 year-old female, was walking north on the 800 block of North 23rd Street when she was approached from behind by an unknown male who was demanding her wallet, stating "don’t make a scene or I’ll shoot you”. When the complainant gave the suspect her wallet, she noticed he was holding a handgun in his right hand. After the suspect went through her wallet, realizing there was no money inside, the suspect threw the wallet back to the complainant and fled on foot and was last seen to a Sunoco gas station located at 19th & Poplar Streets north towards Girard Avenue. Nothing was taken from the complainant and no injuries were reported during this incident. Suspect Description: Black male, 17 years-of-age, 5’8", 180-200lbs, dark complected, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt with yellow writing on it, black sweatpants, and armed with a handgun.
