HOUSTON, TX-Five Suspects Involved in Smash and Grab 0 0
Published on Dec 12, 2013 HOUSTON, TX -- Crime Stoppers and investigators with the Houston Police Department are searching for five unidentified males responsible for a smash and grab style robbery at and area pawn shop in late November. On November 23, 2013, at approximately 1:15 pm, four unidentified males entered a pawn shop located on the 11700 block of Hempstead Highway in Houston, Texas. One suspect stood watch at the front door of the business as three suspects began to smash the glass display cases with sledge hammers. The suspects took the gold jewelry and fled the scene. A fifth suspect was waiting in a getaway vehicle, an older model green Pontiac with paper plates (partial number: "73"). The suspects are described as black males between the ages of 18-25 years. At the time of the offense, all were wearing baggy style blue jeans and hoodies.
