Davie, Fl Violent Robbery
A group of violent robbers was captured on separate surveillance videos in Davie and Oakland Park early Monday before they robbed two stores, pistol-whipping two clerks in the process. Broward Sheriff’s Office and Davie Police detectives are releasing the videos in the hopes of identifying the three men before the violence escalates. Around 1:30 a.m., the men skulked around a Racetrack gas station at 2855 Davie Road, Davie for about 15 minutes. They parked near a gas pump but didn’t gas up and didn’t buy anything. Surveillance video recorded their faces without masks walking into the store. At 1:48 a.m., they robbed a Hess gas station across the street, hitting and injuring the clerk with the butt of the gun. At 3:05 a.m., they robbed a 7-Eleven in Oakland Park and pistol-whipped the clerk there, as well. One robber, armed with a silver handgun, wore a black New York Mets baseball cap, black pants and a black long-sleeved shirt. He had on light brown shoes. The second wore dark pants, a beige shirt and a brown cap. They concealed their faces during the crimes. A third, who acted as a lookout and possibly as the getaway driver wore sagging black jeans, plaid boxer shorts, a white tank top, white sneakers and dark hat. They may be driving a dark, four-door, Pontiac Grand Am
Address:7-Eleven, 5890 N. Andrews Ave.
