Published on Aug 25, 2013 The New York City Police Department is asking the public's assistance identifying the suspect wanted for a rape in Queens. Details are as follows: On Friday, August 23, 2013 at approximately 10 p.m. the female victim, white, 52, was exiting the R train on 63 Drive and Queens Boulevard when the suspect began asking for her name and phone number. The victim refused and walked into the Rite Aid located at 93-14 63 Drive. The suspect followed the victim into the store and started harassing her inside the store. The suspect then left the store. Shortly thereafter, the victim left the store with the suspect waiting outside for. The victim, followed by the suspect, walked to in front of 63-45 Saunders Street where the suspect grabbed her, threw her down a flight of steps and raped her. The suspect then removed the victim's cell phone and purse. The victim was transported, via EMS, to an area hospital. Suspect: M/B/20's, 5'7" tall with a mustache. The suspect told the victim his name was Junior. Anyone with information in regards to this rape is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
