Houston, TX robbery at 700 block of Normandy in Harris County, Texas

HARRIS COUNTY, TX -- Crime Stoppers and investigators with the Harris County Sheriff's Office are searching for the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery at an area gas station.
On March 31, 2013, Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a gas station located on the 700 block of Normandy in Harris County, Texas. At approximately 7:45 pm, an unidentified suspect entered the store and approached the service counter. He asked the female victim for a pack of cigarettes. As she turned, the suspect drew a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at the victim. He demanded cash from the register's drawer, which the victim promptly opened. The suspect reached over the counter, took an undisclosed amount of cash, and fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male, between 30-35 years of age, standing between 5'6"-5'7" tall and weighing approximately 150-160 lbs. At the time of the offense, the suspect was wearing a long sleeve black shirt and black pants.
