Greenwich Village, New York Assault at Mcdonalds over $50
Description: This video captures the terrifying moment that a McDonald\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s cashier beat two female customers with a metal pole after they got into an argument about a $50 note. Rayon McIntosh, 31, is accused of brutally attacking the women at the 24-hour restaurant in Greenwich Village, New York, after they shouted obscenities at him, slapped him and then jumped over the counter. McIntosh, who was recently freed from jail after serving a 10-year sentence for manslaughter, is shown repeatedly beating the two women as they lie on the floor. One of his victims required surgery after suffering a fractured skull and a broken arm and the other suffered cuts. The women, Denise Darbeau, 24, and Rachel Edwards, 24, have been charged with menacing, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. The one minute and ten second long cell phone video captures the horror of the attack. The two women entered the store and placed their order before arguing with McIntosh. They appear to provoke the cashier, swearing at him and slapping him in the face, after he questions a $50 note they have given him. One of the women then climbs over the counter as the cashier runs into the kitchen. The other woman walks around the counter to join her friend. The cashier then reappears with a metal object and starts repeatedly hitting the women. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Stop it! Stop! Stop! Oh my God!\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' one woman is heard screaming. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Someone call police!\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' The cashier stops hitting the women, but as soon as they try to get up he starts again. McIntosh, who is said to have spent a decade in jail after shooting dead a high school classmate in 2000, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He is being held in police custody on $40,000 bail. A McDonald\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s spokesman said: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'The violence in this video is alarming and reprehensible. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'The franchisee of this restaurant has told us that the individual involved no longer works for her organization. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'We strive to ensure that our McDonald\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s restaurants are safe and welcoming for our customers. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Our franchisee is fully cooperating with authorities in the investigation.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'
